TAMAR Island wildlife was last week shot and framed.
It was the SLR-wielding troupe from the West Tamar Camera Club who are responsible for the graphic display, witnessed by visitors to the Tamar Island Reserve and Interpretation Centre.
Frogs, birds and even an employee remain hanging about the centre's walls as evidence of the opportunistic act.
This year's photography display is the second to be held by the club at the centre - who use it to promote the sights that can be seen at the wetlands.
Camera club president Bill Edmonsdon said it also worked as promotion for the group.
"I'm a volunteer here as well," Mr Edmondson said.
"I asked Alison (Wetlands Business Enterprise co-ordinator Alison Moore) whether we could put up a display of photos from the wetlands last year - it was quite successful."
Last year's display showed the avian wildlife that could be found in the area.
"Some people had a challenge taking photos only from within the wetlands," Mr Edmondson jested.
Ms Moore said the Department of Parks and Wildlife were happy to support the project.
"You can see some fantastic things in the wetlands," Ms Moore said.
"We don't sell the photos from here, but there is a number that people can call if they want to buy them."
