Confronting art graces estate

09 Jan, 2012 12:00 AM
SOME confronting artistic pieces are hanging at Moore's Hill Estate as part of its ongoing support of the West Tamar Arts Group.

The works of Tamar Valley artist Robert Boldkald.

Moores Hill owner Fiona Weller said the pieces had spurred a few comments from visitors.

"Some people think it's pretty to look at them, some find the nudity a bit confronting, but it's art - that's what its about," Mrs Weller said.

"It's nice to change the space and keep it looking fresh."

The partnership is ongoing between the two groups and will see more displays throughout 2012.

"For us it's the community engagement, we've got space and we're open so why wouldn't we?" she said.
